Getting Started with Arduino
On November 8, 2022, IEEE ULAB Student Branch organized a workshop titled “Getting Started with Arduino” at PB104, ULAB Permanent Campus, starting from 4:00 pm. The event aimed to introduce the participants to the basics of Arduino, an open-source electronic platform that allows users to create interactive projects.
The workshop was led by Fazlay Rabby, an experienced engineer who has extensive knowledge of Arduino and its applications. He began the session by explaining the basics of Arduino, such as its components and functions, and then demonstrated how to set up an Arduino board and connect it to a computer.
During the session, participants learned about various sensors and actuators that can be used with Arduino, such as LEDs, motors, and temperature sensors. They were also introduced to the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE), where they learned how to write and upload code to control the devices.
Throughout the workshop, participants were encouraged to ask questions and interact with the trainer, who provided valuable insights and advice. By the end of the session, the participants had a good understanding of how Arduino works and were able to create simple circuits and write code to control them.
Overall, the “Getting Started with Arduino” workshop organized by IEEE ULAB Student Branch was a great success, providing participants with valuable knowledge and skills related to Arduino. The participants praised the organization and the trainer for their efforts and expressed their interest in attending similar events in the future.
