Introduction to Version Control System with Git and GitHub,an online event, organized by the IEEE ULAB Student Branch on July 10 and 11, 2021 ,time: 7.30 PM has illustrated the importance of beginner to intermediate level students who are willing to learn version control systems and understand their importance. Therefore the event has covered an introduction, importance, and basic usage. The session was conducted on the online platform and the speaker was Md. Rahmat UllahSoftware Engineer,Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh 

In this session our trainer showed the participants the usage of git and github. He helped all the participants to open and set up git and github for their own use. He also showcased how they can keep track of their work by using git and github. 

The session was very helpful and the participants found that the topic of the event was very related to their studies and future work. They think that it will help them in the long run
