The speaker of the event was Dr. Md. Abdul Mottalib. In 1976, he completed his bachelor’s degree after finishing his military service. In 1977, he enrolled at Dhaka University to pursue his Master’s degree in Applied Physics. From 1980 to 1981, he was a University Grants Commission (UGC) Research Fellow at Dhaka University’s Department of Applied Physics and Electronics. From 1981 to 1982, he worked as a Scientific Officer at the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission’s Institute of Electronics in Dhaka. From 1982 until 1987, he worked as a lecturer at Dhaka University’s Department of Applied Physics and Electronics. In 1984, he received his second Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand. His thesis was titled “Development of a Bengali Word/Information Processor,” and it was the first Bangla effort in the field of computers.
The number of participants was 250 .This session of IEEE ULAB Student Branch has built up a positive impact among. The participants think that the session helped them a lot in the time of Covid-19 crisis and gave them guidance on how to pursue online education
