The certified workshop titled “ practical application of data science” was held on 1st June 2020 had garnered positive feedback from the participants as well as professionals of 24 universities from 4 countries. The duration of the workshop was 2 hours from 2 pm to 4 pm. This workshop perfectly highlights the core relationship between IoT. data is the key resource that enables the visualization of a problem and assists a solution. 

The welcome note was given by the associate professor of the CSE department at ULAB Muhammad Golam Kibriya. He is also the executive advisor of the IoT lab. Dr Shahriar Rahman the associate professor of the Department of CSE was the moderator of this event. Mr, Abul Al Mohaimin, A senior director of Data engineering in Dun & Bradstreet IN new jersey, USA presented the practical applications of data science and demand of scientists globally, he also discussed how to start and how a student can be an expert in Data Science. The former dean of the school of science and engineering and head of the department of CSE professor Dr Mohammad Abdul Mottalib warded up the session with the vote of thanks.
