Vision & IoT Sensor-based Activity Analysis: Healthcare & Other Apps

The workshop based on Internet of Things (IoT) was held on23rd July,2020.The key speaker of the event was Prof.Dr.Md Md Atiqur Rahman Ahad who was a Professor from University of Dhaka and also an Associate Professor of Osaka University in Japan.3 

The guest of honor was Professor Md Abdul Mottalib, PhD Head, Dept. of CSE, and Dean, SSE, ULAB and Dr. Mohammad Shahriar Rahman who also is an Associate Professor, dept. of CSE, ULAB. 

In general Iot helps us to enable devices which have made remote monitoring in the healthcare sector possible, unleashing the potential to keep patients safe and healthy, and empowering physicians to deliver superlative care. It has also increased patient engagement and satisfaction as interactions with doctors have become easier and more efficient. Activity analysis is one of the important elements for monitoring the patients. 

From this event, the participants got to know many technicalities and ins & outs of Vision and IoT Sensor-based activity analysis. They think it has opened up new doors of interest for them. The initiative of the event was applauded by everyone
