Workshop on Demystifying Nuclear Power Technology

Workshop on Demystifying Nuclear Power Technology was arranged and funded by IEEE. The goal of this workshop was to flourish the idea of safe nuclear activity and its future possible opportunity. However, the main goal was to clear all types of prejudices and misconceptions against nuclear power and the future potential and opportunities for it. Besides the safe generation of power and the
possible safety measures. 

The workshop was dated 13th December, 2018. The time duration of the workshop was from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the keynote speakers were Sk Azmaeen Bin Amir (M.Sc. Student, Nuclear Power Engineering, BUET) and Abrar Jahin Nafi(Assistant Engineer (Design) at Offshore & Marine Engineering Ltd.).

The events included a half day workshop, IEEE Bangladesh Section activities, Quiz, presentation on fundamental issues and video presentations, networking session. The initiative was applauded by everyone involved in the process.
